Spring 2018

Entraintment Analysis on Autistic Speech (Speech Processing)

My Contributions:

• Assist a PhD student in developing a model of entrainment of autistic speakers, using various natural language processing tools such as IBM Watson, SoX and Praat
• Process audio clean up, generate transcripts and parse them into SQLite3 database using Jupyter Notebook, and compute analysis on various acoustic measures

Software Engineering Intern at Viacom

Spring 2018

Reporting/Tracking SDK (Android)

My Contributions:

• Worked in a team developing Android reporting libraries in Java/Kotlin used by Viacom apps
• Contributed to launching the new version of the library by fixing bugs, working closely with QA engineers and writing unit tests following Scrum using Jira and version control with Git/Stash

CUNY Tech Prep Fellow at Tech Talent Pipeline

My Contributions:

• Designed and built a web application where soccer players can apply to any NYC soccer league, using React, Node + Express, and Sequelize with three other fellows
• Implemented RESTful API endpoints and developed database on PostgreSQL

Android Developer Intern at CUNY CIS

Summer 2017

CUNYFirst-MyInfo (Android)

MyInfo is an app that students from all CUNY colleges can access their information such as registered classes, textbooks, and financial aid.

My Contributions:

• Applied model-view-presenter pattern in the existing application
• Eliminated 75 % of redundant code and Applied multithreading and reduced the login time by at least 2 seconds
• Implemented a UX/UI that follow the material design guidelines for Android
• Developed its version 26 and currently in beta on Google Play

Global Search (Android) [Prototype]

Global Search is a class search application available to public as it does not require username and password for access. I built its Android version from the ground up and brought it to about 70% completion on my own.
